Toegegeven, het voelt een beetje als “Kuifje in Afrika”, maar toch ben ik hier! Een week lang in Cape Town en dan ook nog een paar dagen Port Elisabeth.
Enerzijds omdat het toevallig zo uit komt (Els heeft voor haar werk gesprekken met organisaties in zuid Afrika die mogelijke stageplekken hebben voor haar studenten) en en als zij twee weken naar Zuid Afrika kan ben ik natuurlijk gek als ik niet met haar mee ga.
Anderzijds komt het voor mij ook erg goed uit. Voor de driedaagse seminar die wij als Mtiririko-groep in april in Zuid Afrika gaan geven (zie: https://www.facebook.com/Mtiririko) komt dit bezoek geweldig uit!
Het biedt mij bijna twee weken lang de tijd om:
- het land en de cultuur beter te leren kennen
- contacten op te doen, gesprekken te voeren met relevante relaties
- mogelijkheden te onderzoeken om in de tijd dat we hier zijn nog meer trainingen aan de man te brengen
Wat een geweldige kans, en inderdaad, ik heb veel én interessante gesprekken. Gesprekken die ons als Mtiririko ook verder kunnen helpen!
En natuurlijk, in de tien dagen dat ik hier ben zitten twee weekenden, weekenden die we ook goed gebruiken om het land te leren kennen. Prachtig!
